Welcome to TransitYoga, a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting the world’s travelers with Hindu Scriptures, spiritual literature and chaplain care in the Vaishnava tradition. As our first phase we are working closely with the IACAC (International Association of Civil Aviation Chaplains). There are currently about 180 interfaith airport chapels around the world and most of them don’t have a Hindu presence. Hinduism, with about 1 billion followers, is the world’s 3rd largest religion, after Christianity and Islam. We would like to help the interfaith chapels in the following ways:

1. Provide Hindu scriptural literature and religious material which would help those who are hurting in their time of need by helping them increase their love for God.
2. We have a long term goal of having our senior monks volunteer to be chaplains at the airport chapel along with their counterparts to help with:
1. Conducting religious services along with private prayer, meditation and educate the visitors.
2. Hindu pastoral guidance at airports.
3. Provide aid to travelers and employees by having the personal connection.
4. On permission pray with them to provide comfort during their difficult time.

We have already connected with numerous airports in the States and have got very good feedback from them. Some of the airports we have connected with are – Washington DC (IAD and DCA), Atlanta, Dallas, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Phoenix, Cincinnati, Minneapolis, Indiana, Houston, Chicago (ORD, MDW), and Tampa. We would like to connect with other airports around the world.
